The Fourth International Conference on Intelligence Science

    ICIS2020, November 24-27, 2020, Durgapur,

    West Bengal, India

Artificial intelligence (AI) is a term first defined in the year 1956. The field of AI, attempts to understand intelligent systems. Thus, one obvious reason to study it is to learn more about ourselves, the human intelligence. But unlike philosophy and psychology, which are also concerned with intelligence, AI strives to build intelligent systems as well as understand them. AI currently encompasses a huge variety of subfields, from general-purpose areas such as perception and logical reasoning, to specific tasks such as playing chess, proving mathematical theorems, writing poetry, and diagnosing diseases. Often, scientists in other fields move gradually into artificial intelligence, where they find the tools and vocabulary to systematize and automate the intellectual tasks on which they have been working all their lives. Advancement in the field of AI requires deeper investigation of both artificial and natural intelligence, in an interdisciplinary context. The objective of this conference is to bring together the researchers from the fields of brain science, cognitive science and artificial intelligence under a common umbrella to reconnoitre the essence of intelligence and the related technologies.

The main theme of ICIS2020 is: “From AI to Intelligence Science”
